Vuka Rockville Training Center
Vuka Development Centre Rockville Training Centre is a proud initiative under the Gauteng Department of Social Development’s Sustainable Livelihood Programme. Established to empower the youth and unemployed community members, the Rockville Centre focuses on hands-on, trade-based skills that open doors to employment, entrepreneurship, and long-term self-reliance.
Our goal is to equip every learner with practical, in-demand skills that contribute to both individual growth and community development. The Centre serves as a hub where young people are not only trained but also mentored, supported, and connected to real opportunities in the job market.
At the Rockville Training Centre, all courses are offered free of charge to qualifying community members, ensuring accessibility and inclusivity for all. Learners receive certificates of completion, career guidance, and referrals for job placements or small business support.
Through these programmes, the Rockville Training Centre continues to bridge the gap between unemployment and opportunity, helping participants build sustainable livelihoods, restore dignity, and uplift their communities.
